European tech repair service Tech Centre teamed up with second-hand electronics company CeX and UK esports organisation Endpoint.

As a result of the deal, Tech Centre and CeX will launch a console repair service for gamers across the latter’s 380+ stores in the UK. This includes fixing consoles, controllers and handhelds, from retro equipment to the latest devices.

Tech Centre will provide customers with a ‘no fix no fee’ guarantee and a two-year warranty – if it can’t be fixed then it will be returned to the owner at no cost.

Meanwhile, Endpoint will work with Tech Centre on social media campaigns which will include well-known content creators such as Pickapixel to allow fans to win gaming goodies during the year.

Endpoint currently has a range of partners within its portfolio, with CeX being the organisation’s title partner. CeX first became a partner of Endpoint in early 2020. The team’s other sponsors include noblechairs, Overclockers UK, ENDX and Socios.

According to co-owner Peter Thompson, Endpoint claimed it has been profitable in the last four years, reinvesting the earnings into the company. Towards the end of last year, Endpoint was seeking outside investment to further grow its operations.

Founded in 2016, Endpoint is mainly known for its presence in Rocket League, Counter-Strike and Quake. The organisation has become a staple in the UK Counter-strike scene and has regularly competed in both Rocket League and Quake’s top-tier leagues. The company also launched its own esports bootcamp service called Pracrooms, which aims to provide teams with facilities and tools to improve in-game performance.
