007 First Light is set to launch on Xbox in May 2026 after a delay pushed it back from its original March release window, but Xbox Game Pass subscribers shouldn’t expect to find it in the library at launch. The Bond origin story from IO Interactive, the studio behind the Hitman trilogy, is heading to Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC as one of the year’s most anticipated releases.
While the game will feature Xbox Play Anywhere support, Game Pass members will have to buy the game to play it on launch. Like many other AAA games, 007 First Light could join the Game Pass catalog later, but for now Bond fans will have to make do with other options.
