FUT Esports lifted the PGL Bucharest 2026 trophy after a four-map win over Astralis. The former NAVI Junior side was dominant in their wins, giving the Danes just 13 rounds across three maps. Astralis, meanwhile, narrowly edged out Nuke in overtime to earn their sole map win of the best-of-five series. The win comes at perfect time for FUT, giving them a boost of confidence as they head towards the IEM Cologne Major 2026.
Astralis shell-shocked by FUT’s firepower
Right off the bat, FUT controlled the map well, with their CT side using a pistol win as the springboard for an 8-4 half. But it wasn’t just the defence that worked for FUT, as Astralis’ own CT side struggled to hold off any attacks, allowing Aulon “Krabeni” Fazlija and co. to wrap up Ancient 13-5.
