After the culmination of your attempts to assist Professor Octavius with his experiment in Chapter 4 (which itself involves a couple of rather confusing puzzles), you’re presented with one of the most baffling moments so far in Crimson Desert: a fight against a seemingly unkillable cloud of black corruption, flying around and sending tendrils of pain at you from far above.
How does one defeat such a boss? You may think it’s to do with the Exposing Weaknesses tutorial panel which flashes up at the beginning of the fight, but – whether intentional or not – this is a complete red herring.
