What is Simp’s net worth in 2025?

The safest estimate of his net worth is the $1.95 million he’s earned from playing in Call of Duty tournaments around the world.

However, it’s safe to assume that he has also generated income from other sources during his professional esports career.

Simp’s main sources of income

Let’s now take a closer look at his various income streams.

Tournament winnings

Let’s start with his winnings. As of January 2026, Simp had made $1.95 million from competing in global Call of Duty tournaments.

His biggest payday was the $300,000 he made when his Atlanta FaZe team shared the $1.2 million pot in the 2021 Call of Duty League Championship.

For the past seven consecutive years, Simp has earned six-figure sums, with the $498,500 he made in 2021 being his most successful.

Six individual tournaments have netted him more than $100,000, while Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has been his most lucrative game, securing him just over $500,000.

Salaries

Simp will have also earned a regular salary from being part of a team. Call of Duty rules have stipulated a base amount of between $50,000 and $55,000 in recent years.

Of course, some players make more. While individual contracts aren’t disclosed, a report from the Influencer Marketing Hub suggests top esports players earn up to $187,200 per year.

Streaming

This is a popular way for prominent gamers to make money, and Simp is no exception. His Twitch account has 126,000 followers.

According to Streamscharts, Simp has 27 active subscribers. However, earnings will depend on the agreements in place with the platform.

It’s a similar story with YouTube. Simp has 64,000 subscribers to his channel, and his 251 videos have been viewed over five million times.

Merchandise selling

Simp has a website through which he sells various branded merchandise. For example, there are t-shirts for $45, desk mats for $25 and mugs for $15.

Sponsorships and endorsements

Simp has promoted a number of brands on social media. However, it’s unclear whether these are personal arrangements or the result of agreements with his team.

In December 2025, Simp thanked SteelSeries on X for sending him a set of headphones.

Shoutout @SteelSeries for sending me the Arctis Nova Elite. This is for sure the best headset i’ve ever tried, definitely a game changer for 2026 🔥 pic.twitter.com/9XPCpjCTfG

He also gave a shout-out to Monster, the energy drink, when he attended the UFC 322 event in New York’s iconic Madison Square Garden.

FaZe Vegas (formerly Atlanta FaZe) has had plenty of agreements with companies over the years, including Monster Energy, Battle Beaver and Rollbit.

Simp’s business ventures and investments

Simp doesn’t appear to have any other businesses or prominent investments. If he does, then there’s no publicly available information about them.

Simp’s early life and background

Simp was born on February 6, 2001. He grew up in Long Island, New York, where he lived with his parents and older brother.

His introduction to gaming was through the Nintendo GameCube, bought by his father, before he moved on to larger consoles, according to his website.

This led him to start playing Call of Duty with his school friends, which progressed to his involvement in GameBattles for Black Ops II.

At 15 years old, Simp was competing in offline events, mainly with Elite Tournament Gaming, which was a major tournament host on the US East Coast.

Early success

Simp secured first place at ETF 11, alongside Destiny, Profeezy and Yohan, before going on to claim two more ETG victories.

He also became friends with James ‘Clayster’ Eubanks, a three-time world champion who served as a mentor for the fast-developing Simp.

In 2018, he joined eUnited Cadets, the academy team of Eunited. The following year he became a substitute for eUnited, just one month after his 18th birthday.

World champion

He quickly established himself as part of the team’s starting roster and finished his rookie year by heading to Los Angeles for the 2019 Call of Duty World League Championship.

The team, which was one of 32 in the competition, beat 100 Thieves 3-2 in the final. It was a particularly remarkable achievement for Simp, who was awarded MVP of the tournament.

In an interview for the Call of Duty League in the wake of his first world title win, Clayster (James Eubanks) recalled how Simp was marked out early in his career as someone to watch.

“He has the composure of a veteran; somebody that’s been around the block forever,” he said. “He never lets anything rattle him, never lets anything get to him, and those aren’t things you attribute to such a young player.”

In the same interview, Simp acknowledged there was a “target on my back” and that a few players wanted to take him down.

“Hearing the fans and the players say I’m one of the best of all time is crazy,” he said. “I’ve only competed for a year.”

Career progression

Simp then switched to Atlanta FaZe (now FaZe Vegas) in early 2020 and has been there ever since. He has earned $1.6 million from 44 tournaments with the team.

His successful period with the team has included a second ‘world title’, with the award of the 2021 Call of Duty League Championship trophy.

However, he’s focused on the future. In an interview with Breaking Point in September 2025, he insisted he was really looking forward to the upcoming season.

“I’m extremely excited to be teaming with Abuzah and 04,” he said. “Both bring a ton to the table, and I feel like both of them will help me be the player I want to be.”

Simp’s lifestyle & spending habits

While Simp is pretty active on social media, he tends not to share many details about his private life. It’s mainly clips of him playing games.

His most recent post was dedicated to wishing a happy birthday to his “life partner” back in the middle of December 2025.

Happy birthday to my life partner, I love you 🥰❤ pic.twitter.com/nwO5oRHPDv

Simp’s philanthropy and charitable donations?

It’s unknown whether Simp supports any particular causes. However, he has been part of teams involved in charitable events.

For example, in November 2024, Atlanta FaZe took part in Monster Energy’s Beat the Beat Twitch event, which resulted in a $50,000 donation to charity.

How does Simp’s net worth compare to other esports stars?

Simp’s $1.95 million haul makes him the second richest Call of Duty player behind Tyler “aBeZy” Pharris, according to esports earnings.

However, he’s won the most playing Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, with his $500,833 haul putting him ahead of McArthur Jovel, better known as Cellium, on $488,750.

Simp is the ninth most financially successful American gamer, with Fortnite star Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf leading the way with $3.78 million.

As far as the overall rich list is concerned, the top spots are all taken by Dota 2 players, as this game has traditionally enjoyed the biggest prize pools.

Johan “N0tail” Sundstein currently tops the list with $7.18 million, comfortably ahead of Jess “JerAx” Vainikka on $6.48 million. Simp is currently 71st.

Conclusion

Christopher “Simp” Lehr is already guaranteed to go down in history as one of the best ever Call of Duty players, and his career is still going.

The American is a two-time world champion and has already earned almost $2 million from professional esports over the past decade.

However, that’s likely to rise over the coming months and years. Simp is still young and competing with one of the sport’s leading teams.
