Hello Games has released No Man’s Sky update 6.2, Remnant, expanding the game’s sandbox with a new Multi-Tool attachment built around gravity manipulation. Additionally, there’s a new gameplay element of hauling scrap to new facilities on scrap worlds.
The update’s pièce de résistance is the Gravitino Coil, a gravity-manipulation device for the Multi-Tool that can magnetise and launch a range of physical objects. It’s available via t he Space Anomaly and at the new Waste Processing Plants found on planets with salvageable scrap. The same tool can be used in combat, including grabbing and flinging Sentinel drones.
