The Top 8 of the Tekken World Tour 2025 Global Finals will take place on February 1st, 2026, to round off the fighting game’s annual esports circuit.
Taking place in Malmö, Sweden from January 30th to February 1st, the event is the culmination of the Tekken World Tour 2025.
The event features 36 of the world’s best Tekken players competing for a share of a $300,000 (~£217,680) prize pool. In addition to the Top 8 taking place on February 1st, Bandai Namco will share details on ‘the future of Tekken 8’.
Tekken remains one of the FCG’s more popular esports titles, with several organisations fielding players in high-profile tournaments. On January 27th, French organisation Team Vitality signed Neia, a 16-year-old who recently scored a 17th-place finish at Evo France 2025 on her debut.
Outside of its presence at FCG tournaments, the title continues to offer a platform for players of all ages. In December 2025, Care hosted a tournament for senior citizens, with a 92-year-old competitor taking the title.
