Monster Hunter Wilds: Where to find Dapperwings

Dapperwings are a type of Endemic Life species, a returning type of life from Monster Hunter World which significantly bulks out the ecosystems of Monster Hunter’s various regions. Endemic Life can’t be directly hunted or killed, but in Monster Hunter Wilds you can capture them using a Capture Net – and one side quest in particular requires you to seek out and capture a Dapperwing.
That quest, as you’ll probably know if you’re reading this, is Samin’s Research Report – a side quest available from fairly early on in the game. Dapperwings, Samin tells you, can only be found in the Scarlet Forest region.
