You’ll encounter several choices as you prepare to make your way through Act 3 of Baldur’s Gate 3. One of these decisions is given to you by the Emperor, who offers to evolve you using a special tadpole he’s had hidden away.
The Emperor reveals his identity to you shortly after he’s attacked inside the artifact. You’ll have to protect him and his prisoner. How you react to the reveal of his identity may vary, but regardless of how you treat him, he offers you a deal where you can take a step closer down the path of becoming an Illthid. The choice is an important one, and it’s an option your party members will remember.
