Microsoft Officially Announces Black Friday Xbox Deals for 2024
Microsoft has just revealed everything included in its Black Friday sale. It includes some discounts on games, controllers, consoles, and more, plenty of which are now live. But, we’ve found a few extra early Black Friday deals we want to share with you today as well, including a top discount on Xbox controllers currently down to just $34.95 using a unique promo code. Here’s a breakdown of the best offers for Xbox running now through Black Friday and beyond.
Best Xbox Black Friday Deals
Microsoft has officially announced big savings on digital Xbox and PC games, running now through December 2. You can enjoy up to 55% off select digital Xbox games and up to 60% off select PC digital titles. There are big deals for games like FC 25 ($34.99), Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred ($29.99), Star Wars: Outlaws ($52.49), and more. If you picked up a discounted Xbox gift card this week, this must be music to your ears!
While these deals are focused on digital content, expect even more discounts when retailers like Amazon launch their Black Friday sales on November 21, with additional offers rolling out on Black Friday itself, November 29.
Black Friday Xbox Bonus Offers

Use code TWENTY at Woot to snag a Carbon Black Xbox Controller for just $34.95—a steep drop from its $59.99 list price. The catch? This deal is only available for one day (November 15), so act fast before it’s gone. Otherwise, there are plenty of other colors to choose from at Lenovo for $39.99 instead, just use code PLAYXBOX at checkout.
Xbox is also officially discounting controllers from November 21 through December 2, and December 13 through December 22, but it’s only $10 off. You’re likely to find better deals now, or at other retailers in and around Black Friday itself. Also, from November 28 – December 5, there’s free engraving on Xbox Design Lab controllers.
Xbox Series X/S Black Friday Deals
If you’ve been eyeing an Xbox console, the 1TB Carbon Black Series X is currently $50 off, bringing it down to $448. Microsoft has confirmed this $50 discount will last until at least November 23, so you’ve got until then to grab the deal. From November 21, we’ll see some deals on Xbox Series S start to appear as well (at least $50 off).
Best Xbox Game Pass Black Friday Deal

When Is Black Friday 2024?
The actual date of Black Friday in 2024 falls on November 29 this year, but the deals season will begin a lot sooner than that (as seen with these Xbox deals). In other Black Friday news, Nintendo has also recently announced its sale plans for Black Friday, with discounts on Tears of the Kingdom, Joy-Con controllers, and more confirmed to be on sale in the coming days.
There’s also been plenty of speculation about what PlayStation fans might expect this Black Friday, including the possibility of a discount or bundle deal for the PS5 Pro. Alongside hardware deals, we’ve also considered which games are likely to see price drops soon.
