PS Plus Set to Lose Another PlayStation Exclusive This Month

Sony has confirmed 10 games set to leave the PlayStation Plus subscription this month.

As spotted by Eurogamer, PlayStation’s ‘Last Chance to Play’ tab reveals LittleBigPlanet 3 leaves PS Plus soon alongside nine other games. The Sumo Digital-developed puzzle platformer launched on PS3 and PS4 in November 2014, and, as a PlayStation Studios title, is wholly owned by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

Sony shut down LittleBigPlanet 3’s servers permanently in April this year due to technical issues and after long-running DDoS attacks. This resulted in the loss of millions of online community levels.

LittleBigPlanet 3’s exit from PS Plus follows hot on the heels of Horizon: Forbidden West’s removal. Sony did the same thing with the first game in the franchise, Horizon: Zero Dawn in May 2024. That makes three Sony-owned PlayStation games the company has pulled from PS Plus without explanation this year.

The removal of Horizon sparked speculation that Sony might have had a PS5 remaster up its sleeve, but so far nothing has been announced. LittleBigPlanet fans have long wondered whether Sony would remaster its trilogy of games for PS5 and PC, and that speculation is again ramping up.

Elsewhere, a number of Dragon Quest games leave PS Plus this month, as well as Gotham Knights, Ultra Street Fighter 4, and Tango Gameworks’ The Evil Within.
