In 2022, Squanch Games released High on Life, a comedy-packed first-person shooter where your guns talk to you. The game was loosely inspired by Rick and Morty, and soon, it’s getting its own animated series adaptation.
Emmy winner J.B. Smoove is reported to produce the series, according to Deadline. It’s apparently being developed by Squanch Games (co-founded by Justin Roiland, who also co-created Rick and Morty), Striker Entertainment, and Alternate Side Productions, Smoove’s production company. The latter will be responsible for creating the animated series, while the game’s developers and Striker Entertainment’s Mandy Bardisbanian and Russell Binder are executive producers.
