Pokémon pros explain how Regulation H will open door to new VGC players after Worlds

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s upcoming competitive ruleset, Regulation H, is set to begin shortly after the World Championships, and pro players believe the format change will draw new players to the VGC scene.

All eyes will be on top Pokémon players competing at the World Championships next week (Aug. 16 to 18) in VGC, TCG, Go, and UNITE. If you’re a casual player or fan, you might walk away from Worlds feeling inspired to pick up one of these games and get a taste of the competitive side.
