Activision shuts down popular ‘MW2 remaster’ mod H2M one day before full release

The popular H2M mod for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered set to release tomorrow has been shut down thanks to a cease-and-desist order from Activision.

H2M, which added a slew of quality-of-life updates such as Prestige mode levels and camos, as well as all the Modern Warfare 2 (2009) maps, weapons, and more to the 2017 CoD 4 remaster, had catapulted the game to the top of Steam’s top seller list earlier this week.
