MachineGames revealed a new trailer for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle at today’s Xbox Showcase, releasing sometime this year for Xbox Series X/S and PC.
We got a good look at a cinematic, showing Indy in – what else? – a sticky situation in the Himalayas, as some villains try to get him to give them a stone. Luckily, his companion, Gina, saves the day, handing them a grenade instead of the stone they so desperately want.
We’re excited to show you more of #IndianaJones and the Great Circle, coming 2024!

“From the hallowed halls of the Vatican and the sunken temples of Sukhothai to the pyramids of Egypt and the snowy peaks of the Himalayas, Indy’s latest journey will send him around the world in a race against time as he hunts down mysterious and powerful artifacts,” a Bethesda blog post today reads. “But Indiana isn’t the only one on the trail of these artifacts. Working with Gina, Indy will face off against Voss and his men in the hunt for the secrets of these relics.”
We’re still awaiting a release date, though. MachineGames previously revealed that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle would be released sometime later this year, with a report from The Verge last month claiming that the project had a December release window.
Set between the events of Indiana Jones’s films Raiders of the Lost Ark and the Last Crusade, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle follows the titular character on another globetrotting adventure to uncover the secret to an ancient power connected to the Great Circle.
MachineGames initially revealed Indiana Jones and the Great Circle in January 2021, but it was not until last January during an Xbox Developer Direct that MachineGames announced the game’s official title, and we got a proper look at the gameplay and the plot.
Additional details previously learned after the game’s reveal include that the game is in a first-person perspective, actor Troy Baker will voice Indy, and it will remain an Xbox console exclusive, despite Microsoft’s previous announcement to make some of its first-party projects, like Grounded and Sea of Thieves, would be multiplatform releases.
