Adventure Works, a new game development studio headed up by one of the creators of Disneyland’s Millenium Falcon ride, has announced Ari Buktu and the Anytime Elevator, a colorful new puzzle-platformer for PC (via Steam) that wears its 1980’s pop-culture inspirations, like Back to the Future and Indiana Jones, on its sleeve.
You play as Ari, on a time-traveling adventure with Professor Lionel Raventhorpe as he seeks out the perfect historical artifact as a gift to the love of his life, history teacher Miss Baron. You’ll visit lots of different places both geographic and chronological – 13 total levels in six different environments, specifically.
Adventure Works was founded by former longtime Disney Imagineer Jeffrey Ashbrook. Wishlist Ari on Steam if you’re interested, and don’t forget to check out the trailer at the top of this page and the first screenshots in the gallery above.
