Game publisher Riot Games has revealed that esports organisations Sentinels and Paper Rex were the most popular VCT Capsules in March for their respective international leagues.
North American organisation Sentinels topped the VCT Americas list, which included the likes of G2 Esports and Argentine team Leviatán, while Paper Rex sold the most capsules for VCT Pacific.

Exact details, such as how much both organisations specifically sold, have not been revealed. Moreover, the social media announcements follow on from Fnatic being named the most popular VCT EMEA capsule.
The announcement of Paper Rex topping VCT Pacific’s capsule sales is unsurprising given that the Singapore-based organisation’s in-game items were previously announced as the most popular of the entire collection last month. In second place for VCT Pacific was the Japanese esports organisation ZETA Division, followed by a Trio of Korean teams in T1 (third), DRX (fourth), and Gen.G (fifth).
In VCT Americas, VALORANT 2023 Champions Sentinels also unsurprisingly claimed the top stop for March. However, Leviatán perhaps unexpectedly finished second on the list despite not making it out of the VCT Americas Kickoff Group Stage. In third place was G2 Esports, one of the teams occupying VCT’s non-permanent partner slots, with Cloud9 and LOUD rounding out the list in fourth and fifth, respectively.
The value of VCT’’s team capsules for esports organisations cannot be understated. Previously, Riot Games announced that $33m (~£26.1m) was distributed to VCT teams in 2023. 50% of the generated profits from the capsules are shared with the organisations.
Riot Games’ list of the most popular VCT capsules coincides with the start of VALORANT’s international leagues kicking off with Stage 1. As of April 8th, VCT EMEA has recorded 244,711 peak viewers, with VCT Americas and VCT Pacific garnering 455,545 and 389,360 peak viewership, respectively.
