Out of these characters, two of them were only available in the console version of the game. As you can probably see, there’s a big focus on the new! That might be why it’s the best Tekken game to some people. We can see tons of Tekken characters have originated in this game with the vast majority being brand new picks.
While each of these are new character, there are some things to keep in mind. Quite a few are more Pallete swaps rather than full-fledged characters. This means that we’re seeing a lot of characters, but fewer full move sets. That’s how the roster is so big.
The Tekken 3 fighters are interesting in terms of what’s playable. The Tekken Force Mode features a few characters which aren’t playable without mods. These are technically characters in Tekken 3. However, the playable list is lower.
