Most of the biggest fighting games have had large circuits running through 2023, and one of the widest is the SNK World Championship. This event sees an end of year tournament take place for King of Fighters XV where the very best players compete. While quite a few are already locked in for the SNK World Championship. However, we’ve just got another three new SWC 2023 qualifiers announced.
SNK has announced another set of tournaments has been bumped up to Qualifier status. This means even more players from around the world get their slots locked in for the SNK World Championship finals. We’ve got a few more months before the conclusions, so where can players get involved in these three new SWC 2023 qualifiers?
Three New SWC 2023 Qualifiers Announced
Another batch of SNK World Championship 2023 qualifiers have been announced. The first of these is a new online qualifier. This will be held on January 6 for players in Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. This will lock another player in purely from online play.
It’s not just online though. The next new qualifier is the Knockdown! Vegas KOF Climax. Taking place in Vegas, this isn’t actually a NA exclusive qualifier. It’s a global qualifier where players are free to attend to try and get their slot confirmed for the final.
The last of the three new SWC 2023 qualifiers is Fightclub Century Battle II. This is another global qualifier this time taking place in Shenzhen. This last one is happening on January 20.
These three new qualifiers are coming in January, but they’re not the only ones. Events like Frosty Faustings XVI are already running as qualifiers over the next few months. The SNK World Championship final itself is scheduled for March, so after these events finish up, we don’t have long to go before the conclusion of the whole circuit.
