A second My Hero Academia Fortnite collab is here! Tuesday’s update introduced a second round to the crossover between the popular anime and manga franchise and Fortnite. The game has seen weapons that came with the last round back, but also some fun new items and skins that will spice up C4 S4 of Fortnite.
Fortnite X My Hero Academia originally came to the game back in the start of Chapter 4. This was a brief crossover including a Mythic item that was a bit overpowered. While it’s coming back again this season, the newer mythic introduced feels even more exciting. It’s not just in-game items though, the My Hero Academia Fortnite collab is bringing some big characters into the game as skins too. This is everything that’s changed with the latest collaboration.
My Hero Academia Fortnite Crossover Returns
The Fortnite X My Hero Academia collab is coming back for a second round. This return for the crossover has introduced three new skins, each with an alternative outfit. These are the characters introduced in this crossover.
Shoto Todoroki
Eijiro Kirishima
Mina Ashido
Each of these characters comes with other cosmetics and alternative styles. They’re some of the most popular characters from My Hero Academia. Fortnite getting them as skins is pretty fun. They might up being some of the best Fortnite skins, at least if you’re a big fan of MHA. Along with skins though, there’s in-game changes coming too.
New Items in Fortnite
MHA X Fortnite crossover has a few new items coming. There are two mythic items which are going to be going to be available in each game too. The first is a returning item, that’s the Deku Smash. It’s a powerful attack which has a bit of a wind up. Once you land it though it’ll do heavy damage.
The second of the new items for My Hero Academia Fortnite is Todoroki’s Ice Wall. This is a new power added in. When you activate it, you’ll throw up a large wall of ice in front of you. It’s a great for getting some quick defences or breaking up a fight not going your way. This is a more interesting tool, having utility beyond just dealing damage. Especially in Zero Builds where cover is more valuable.
Both of these new items are found in the All Might Supply Drops. These are special drops which are going to release the new Mythics. They’re marked on the minimap though, so be careful when opening them.
Those are all of the new features for the Fortnite X My Hero Academia Fortnite collab. The Deku Smash Mythic is staying till the next update with the skin, but the Ice wall will be here all-season round! We might even see it come up in future events like the FNCS Global Championship coming up this season.
