Free Fire has been one of the most popular mobile battle royale games worldwide. When an online game gets this popular, one cause of worry for the developer is the toxicity in the game. This doesn’t just come with toxic comments in the chat but also AFK behavior which spoils the experience for all players. Free Fire uses Honor Score to enforce good behavior in the game.
The default Honor Score for all players is 100. If you engage in toxic behavior, which could be any of the following, your Honor Score will decrease.
AFK behavior
Force quitting
Verbal abuse
Toxic comments in the chat
So what happens if your Honor Score decreases? You will not be able to get the full experience of Free Fire without increasing your score first. The punishments for low Honor Score in Free Fire are as follows:
Below 95: You won’t be able to play the CS-Ranked mode
Below 90: You won’t be able to queue into the BR-Ranked Duo or Squad modes.
Below 80: You won’t be able to play the BR-Ranked mode
Below 60: Free Fire won’t allow you to team up with other players.
Of course, none of us can maintain a perfect Honor Score all the time because net issues or some unforeseeable circumstance can make us leave games halfway. If you have been the victim of many such instances and find your Honor Score reaching the lower levels, here’s how you can increase it by playing Free Fire again.
How to Increase Honor Score in Free Fire?
There is only one way to increase the Honor Score in Free Fire and that is through playing matches with good behavior. This means that playing matches without going AFK or exhibition behavior may result in other players reporting you.
Whether you win or lose in these matches won’t make a difference as the Honor Score only worries about your match behavior. Of course, as your Honor Score falls low, you might only be able to queue into specific modes. Play these modes to increase it.
If your Honor Score has fallen below 60, you might need to play solo matches to increase it before you can play with other players again.
There are two other important points to know about the Honor Score in Free Fire:
If you are playing as a squad or duo, and all your teammates quit the game, you will not experience Honor Score deductions for leaving the match.
The higher your rank, the more the Honor Score will be deducted when exhibiting toxic behavior.
