The new Fortnite season has started up and it means quite a few changes to the map. The Chapter 4 Season 4 locations are some of the most fun and dynamic new POIs that we’ve seen. These spots are home to unique Mythic items and fun new vaults. Unlike in past Chapter 4 seasons, this one has made changes to different spots in the map rather than concentrating the new areas in one biome. Some of these are definitely going to be the best landing spots Fortnite has this season.
The best Fortnite locations means more players will be landing here, so do these new spots have enough loot to warrant all those early game firefights? It definitely looks like it so far. Although, it’s also viable to land at one of the Fortnite character locations and just buy what you need if you’ve got the gold! These are the new Chapter 4 Season 4 locations and how they’re changing the game over the next few months of Fortnite.
Chapter 4 Season 4 Locations
Reckless Retreat
The first of the new Chapter 4 Season 4 locations is Reckless Retreat. The theme of the season might be heists, but at first look this spot is actually a luxury resort! As you move past the ice area of Brutal Bastion, the landscape turns from the harshest of winters to complete summer. You’ll find palm trees, electric heaters, and more on the map. Cross the water and you find a sprawling seaside resort.
The spot contains plenty of loot between all of the hotel rooms and the flashy interior. What’s really special is what’s waiting in the basement though. You’ll find an entire complex or guards, turrets, and secret vents Take down the boss to get into a vault. In here you’ll find a choice between two Chapter 4 mythics. Although, you’ll need to demolish walls and get away from an army of henchmen to escape with your loot.
Sanguine Suites
On the exact opposite side of the map, there is the second of the new Chapter 4 Season 4 locations. It’s another spot which is designed to be a fancy hotel, clearly this season’s vampire villain has a good touch for design. Sanguine Suites also hides another vault underneath though, complete with a random choice of two Mythics. That alone makes it one of the best Fortntie locations this season.
Situated on the far edge of the map, this one of the locations is a bit tricky for rotation. You might have to make good use of the Rocket Ram to get out of there at the right speed!
Eclipsed Estate
The final of the new POIs is Eclipsed Estates. Visually it is quite similar to the other two. However, this is a more vertically designed spot which is replacing the Citadel. Fun in C4 S1, the Citadel definitely outstayed its welcome and this new POI is a much-welcomed change from the stone castle. There’s another vault here and it’s probably the best landing spots Fortnite has between these 3 new POIs thanks to being more central.
Other Map Changes in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 Locations
Those are the new locations, but there’s some smaller changes in the map too. Everything about Chapter 4 Season 4 wouldn’t be complete without these changes to older POIs.
There are three more vaults added which are in the innards of older POIs. There’s only one Mythic at these spots, the one dropped by the resident boss. However, you’ll get quite a few rare chests for making it inside. The defences are all a bit stripped back so you don’t have to worry as much about making it in or out. It’s a bit calmed but still one of the best Fortnite locations for a solo drop.
These are the spots for these new vaults where you’ll find new henchmen.
Chapter 4 Season 4 Locations with Mini Vaults
Mega City
Rumble Ruins
The Slap Factory
There are also some more minor changes with last season’s puzzle rooms getting removed In terms of actual new Chapter 4 Season 4 locations though, that’s all of the fresh additions this season has to offer.
