WrestleQuest Was Delayed at the Last Minute by Two Weeks Due to a Save Game Bug

Mega Cat Studios and Skybound Games announced just before WrestleQuest’s planned August 8 release date that WrestleQuest has been delayed by two weeks to August 22, 2023.

“When performing final checks on one of our launch platforms, we discovered it was possible for players to lose their save game progress when playing WrestleQuest on multiple different devices,” Mega Cat Studios said in a statement. “Because this is a game filled with hours of content and layer progress is so important, we could never bodyslam our fans like that.”

When WrestleQuest arrives it will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The game was first revealed in March 2022 and is a pro wrestling and RPG fantasy presented in a pixel art style.

In the game, the player will go on a journey to become one of the all-time greats in the sport, with several wrestling legends coming to assist. The roster includes stars such as “Macho Man” Randy Savage, Booker T, and Junkyard Dog.
