Riot to completely restructure LoL’s controversial Mythic item system in 2024

Mythic items have been one of the most divisive additions to League of Legends in recent years, but it appears their time is now up. The Mythic system will be sunset in January, Riot Games announced today.

Some players have complained about how limiting Mythic items could be to a champion’s build path, while others were happy about how straightforward builds were for different champions.
