The New 1TB Black Xbox Series S Is Up for Preorder

Following an excellent showcase, Xbox had a big surprise up its sleeve for fans alongside a wide variety of exciting game announcements: a 1TB Xbox Series S in carbon black. It’s set to release on September 1st and is available to preorder right now for $349.99, so you can have it all set and ready to go before Starfield releases.

You can find preorder links to the new console below, which is available at a variety of retailers.

The main perk of this new console is the storage, which is nearly double that of the first Xbox Series S that comes in at 512GB. Outside of that, it features the same speed and performance of its predecessor but has a sleek black exterior that matches the color of the Xbox Series X. This wasn’t the only exciting announcement that Xbox had up their sleeve, though.

During the Starfield Direct immediately after, it was revealed that a Starfield-exclusive controller and headset are also available to purchase. These have a fantastic sci-fi aesthetic that’ll fit perfectly into your gaming setup as you journey through space in Bethesda’s latest.

That’s not all, though, the Constellation Edition (or collector’s edition) of Starfield was also revealed, which contains a digital copy of the game, plus the Starfield chronomark watch, a watch case, Constellation patch, and steelbook display case. There are also digital items included with this edition, like the first story expansion called Shattered Space, a Constellation skin pack, digital soundtrack, digital artbook, and five days early access.
