Konami has just announced the contents of Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1., due out this October. Now, the internet has spotted the line-up of games for the unannounced Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2.
Twitter user Nitroid spotted that inspecting the Metal Gear Solid timeline page on the official Metal Gear Solid website reveals placeholder buttons for Metal Gear Solid 4, Metal Gear Solid 5, and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.

IGN understands this lineup for Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 is accurate and has asked Konami for comment.
While the entire collection will no doubt excite Metal Gear fans, it’s the inclusion of Metal Gear Solid 4 that’s of most interest. Kojima Productions’ 2008 action-adventure stealth video game has been shackled to the PlayStation 3 since launch, and with Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2. expected to launch on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and Nintendo Switch, an army of newcomers are set to experience Guns of the Patriots for the first time.
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker launched first in 2010 as the fifth installment of the Metal Gear Solid series made specifically for the PlayStation Portable. It later launched on the PS3 and Xbox 360 as part of the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection.
Metal Gear Solid 5 launched in 2015 as Hideo Kojima’s final work at Konami. It’s available on PS3, PS4, PC, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
Metal Gear Solid Collection Vol. 1 includes Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, Snake’s Revenge, a screenplay book containing in-game text of each title, and a master book detailing the story and characters. The collection’s release means Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater will see its first-ever release on PC.
