If you’re someone who switches between the two a lot, you’ll know that CS:GO’s slow-paced tactical gameplay is completely at odds with the run-and-gun Apex Legends Battle Royale gameplay. Now for casual players, this might not make too much of a difference. But for hardcore gamers, having a different sens is going to affect your muscle memory and make you play worse in both. You can see this in other games too, which is why you can also convert CS:GO to Overwatch sens. Here’s how it applies to Apex Legends with a few different methods!

Option 1: Manually Convert CS:GO to Apex Legends Sensitivity

Converting CS:GO sensitivity manually remains pretty simple, and can even help you copy CS:GO pro settings if you usually play other games instead.

Launch CS:GO.
Press the small cog on the left side of the screen to open up the Settings menu.
Open the Keyboard / Mouse sub-section.
Write down your Mouse Sensitivity open – this is your CS:GO sensitivity.

Now this is where we’re going to let you in on a little secret. Because CS:GO and Apex Legends are both developed on the Source Engine, the sensitivity between both is exactly the same. This means that you can take that CS:GO sensitivity, and simply copy it over into Apex Legends! It couldn’t be easier due to that one simple fact. If you don’t know how to actually change your Apex Legends sensitivity, here’s how you can do just that.

Launch Apex Legends.
Click the cog in the bottom right of the screen, and press the Settings button.
Head to the Mouse / Keyboard sub-section along the top of the screen.
Mouse Sensitivity will be the first option available – this is where you enter your CS:GO sensitivity from earlier.
One top tip – make sure your mouse DPI is the same for both games; sensitivity means nothing if the DPI is different.

That’s it! It’s super simple to convert CS:GO to Apex Legends sensitivity, especially compared to other games where you have to use math equations to work it out. If you don’t believe us, we’re going to show you how to use a CS:GO sens converter to bring your sensitivity to Apex Legends.

You can certainly use an automatic tool like Aiming Pro to convert CS:GO to Apex Legends sensitivity, but as we mentioned, it will only come up like-for-like. This just adds an unnecessary step into the process, so we wouldn’t recommend it. You should certainly be aware of these tools, though. They can be important for other games, like converting Valorant to CS:GO sens. It has plenty of options for players to choose from – it just so happens that for the CS:GO to Apex Legends sensitivity conversion it’s completely unnecessary.
