Street Fighter 6 is currently in a frenzy of news and updates for the game before its release. We’re getting loads of updates including quite a few that address the lore behind characters. This week, Capcom has given us the biggest drop for story content in the new game. Just a few weeks before release, we’ve got a Street Fighter 6 prequel comic that gives some key information about where we find all of the SF 6 characters in the new instalment.
Street Fighter 6 Prequel Comic
Capcom has shared on Twitter the first in what’s going to be a series of Street Fighter 6 prequel comics. These are short comics, four in total. They’re written and illustrated by Capcom and UDON Comics. They catch up with all of the main characters and set up where they are heading in the full game. Each of the comics is free to read too!
The comic has already revealed a few things about the characters and where they are in this new game. There are details on Luke and JP. One fun twist was the confirmation of a popular fan theory though, Ken is a crypto bro!
We’re releasing four comics, written and illustrated by artists from Capcom and UDON Comics – all leading up to the story of #StreetFighter6!

This isn’t the only recent lore drop we’ve gotten. Fans have recently found out that JP’s full name is Johann Patrovich, along with some other details about the cast as we head into the new game.
Street Fighter 6’s Story
This is just the first of a few prequel comics that are coming through the lead-up to Street Fighter 6’s release! We’ll find out even more when the next three comics drop over the coming months. In the meantime, there’s loads of new footage emerging with more character moves and interactions. There’s not long to wait before we can jump into everything SF has to offer though.
