The roster of playable characters and Kameo characters for Mortal Kombat 1’s first DLC Kombat Pack has seemingly been leaked online.
According to a product listing on Amazon Italy, there are six playable characters and five Kameo characters in Kombat Pack 1. The six playable characters are said to be Quan Chi, Omni Man, Ermac, Peacemaker, Takeda, and Homelander.
Packaged with them are apparently five Kameo characters, NPC fighters that assist a player during a match. The Kameo characters listed in the leak are Tremor, Johnny Cage, Khameleon, Mavado, and Ferra.
Of the playable characters, the two most interesting ones are Peacemaker and Homelander, which were previously reported to appear in Mortal Kombat 1. Peacemaker hails from DC Comics and has starred in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad and is the star in the HBO Peacemaker spin-off TV show. Homelander, meanwhile, is the lead antagonist of the comic book and Amazon TV show series The Boys.
Mortal Kombat 1 was officially announced earlier this week as a reboot of the popular fighting game franchise. The game introduces a new universe created by Fire God Liu Kang with reimagined characters, a new fighting system, new modes, and new finishing moves.
Mortal Kombat 1 is set to release on September 19, 2023, for PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S.
