Recently Brawlhalla hit a brand-new threshold for player numbers, crossing 100 million players! To celebrate, the devs said they have something special planned. They’ve delivered in the latest Brawlhalla update. The Brawlhalla patch notes for Patch 7.08 cover this brand-new event. There’s a whole new event going on.
New Content to Celebrate 100 Million in Brawlhalla Patch Notes
The biggest part of the latest Brawlhalla update is the new event to celebrate 100 million Brawlers. It’s going to be a 3-week event where fans can grab loads of free cosmetics in-game. There’s a new Epic skin, new color scheme, free avatar, and title reward. On top of that, the first week of the event will see all 58 Brawlhalla Legends enter free rotation!
The big new feature is a new Epic skin, Inari Yumiko. This has a custom signature FX, weapon skins, animations, announcer VO, and roster icon. There’s also a new color scheme you can unlock by winning matchmode games with all 58 legends in the week they’re available for free! This will ensure you get the exclusive color scheme for every Brawlhalla character.
You can also grab an emoji skin by completing 10,000 XP in matchmade games. As well as redeeming the rewards for watching Brawlhalla esports over recent events like the Spring Royale. These are now active in the Brawlhalla patch notes for 7.08.
Everyone who logs in during the 100 million Brawlers event will receive a few bonuses too. There’s a free title and avatar for logging in, bonus gold, and sales in the store throughout the event. There will also be some fun game modes running in Daily Brawl over the course this Brawlhalla update too.
Balance Changes in Brawlhalla Patch Notes 7.08
The Brawlhalla patch notes for 7.08 include a decent amount of balance changes. These are based on the DreamHack San Diego event, other esports tournaments, and player feedback. It’s going to make quite a few changes to Thea as she’ll now be tournament legal.
Some new test features have been introduced alongside the balancing changes. These play around with the penalty for backdashing. The new Boomerang Gadget has also made the jump up after passing its test features!
Free Prime Gaming Reward
That’s the big changes to the Brawlhalla Patch notes this week. There’s a bit more worth mentioning though, especially if you have Prime Gaming.
