WoW devs are taking inspiration from Shadowlands with Dragonflight’s final season

Although there isn’t a person alive who doesn’t wince at the thought of Shadowlands, it brought one of the best ends to the expansion by introducing season four. Seeing the sheer success of the last season of Shadowlands, Blizzard Entertainment is looking to wrap up Dragonflight in a similar fashion.

In a group interview on March 20, World of Warcraft’s game director Ion Hazzikostas explained how season four was a great wrap-up to Shadowlands and that we might see Dragonflight end with a similar season where players do the grand tour of all expansion raids. Aside from that, it would be better to run three or four different raids at the end of the expansion as it would definitely spice up the end of the expansion.
