Today, Apex Legends has lost a major player as RamBeau has announced his retirement. The Sentinels player has a long history with the game but has chosen now in a messier period of Season 16 to announce that he’s leaving the title as a competitive-level player. Due to a change in personal priorities, the player will be stepping away from Apex Legends.

Recently Apex has had some upheaval, but with developers claiming Apex could run for ten more years though, players in Apex esports definitely have the potential for a long future in the game. This is what the RamBeau had to say about why he’s leaving the game.

RamBeau Retires from Apex Legends

RamBeau is a player with a lengthy history in Apex Legends esports. He’s been part of teams since 2020, eventually reaching the Sentinels squad earlier this year. His stay at the Sentinels team proved not to be a long one though. He’s just announced his early retirement only a while into his first full month with the squad!

The player took to Twitter to explain his reasons for leaving the game. In a Twit longer, he wrote “…do what makes you happy in life, and I’m currently not happy. There have been some unfortunate family matters the last half year and it’s time I help the fam a little more and there are other opportunities I want to pursue in life so I’ll be retiring from comp. Apex.”

The player did say he would continue to play the game and continue streaming. Although as a Competitive level player, he’s stepping away. In the past, he’s reached the ALGS Championship multiple times.

Competitive Apex has had a rough few weeks with issues like server crashes during ALGS. Although, RamBeau retiring from Apex seems to be down to personal situations changing, not frustration with the game itself. Hopefully, he continues to leave his mark on the game through streaming and finds what makes him happy.
