If you haven’t been able to follow all the LPL Spring Split action, here are 10 interesting stats to get a better picture ahead of playoffs.
LPL 2023 Spring – Stats, facts and numbers
The LPL Spring regular split has officially ended and with the LPL Spring playoffs starting this week, the 10 teams are going to have a tough schedule ahead of them. While we did have some surprises, all the expected big teams were able to qualify for the second phase. That being said, only two teams will go to the Mid-Season Invitational, so the LPL Spring Playoffs have the risk of becoming a dump fire, with lots of upsets and shockers.
With that in mind, let’s rewind some of the most important stats and numbers achieved by LPL teams throughout the regular split.
10. JDG Gaming has the highest win rate in regular split
JDG not only finished first place with a 13-3, but they were also the team with the best win rate at 78%. The second-best teams were EDG and LNG, both sitting at 72%.
9. Ultra Prime had the lowest win rate and the biggest loss streak
Despite starting out decently with a 2-5 score, Ultra Prime plummeted in the second half of the split, going on an 8-loss streak which put them dead last on the standings, with only a 24% win rate. Considering former world champion jungler Ning and support Baolan were on the team, the team must bounce back next split.

8. IG back to the drawing board
Considering the hype and the results the team was achieving, especially considering they were in the top two until week 4, IG was unable to qualify for playoffs.
From 5-1, the team finished the split in 7-9, throwing one of the biggest chances to make it in the top 10. It’s unfortunate, and this might be a sign that the magical run is over.
7. LNG scored the highest amount of kills in the split
Almost no one expected LNG to fight for the top at the start of the split. Yet, they were able to clinch the top three while also scoring the highest amount of kills: 631. The second-best team was BLG at 605.
6. UP scored the lowest amount of kills and the highest amount of deaths
Speaking of total kills, UP scored two more worrying records. They had the lowest amount of kills (324 kills) while also having the most amount of deaths, a total of 606 and 36 more than the second-worst team Anyone’s Legend (570 deaths).
5. K’Sante – most picked champion
The top laner, despite the various nerfs throughout the split, was the most picked champion, with a total pick rate of 40%. The top three are filled by Zeri (137 picks) and Vi (127 games).

4. Jax – most banned champion
Top laners have been the highlight in the Chinese region, with Jax scoring the highest ban rate at 60%, well above the rest of the competition (Maokai was second at 45%).
3. 11 champions have a 100% win rate
While these champions are situational picks, they were able to maintain their perfect win rate throughout the split. They are: Vex, Mordekaiser, Olaf, Udyr, Sett, Kog’Maw, Quinn, Twisted Fate Sona, Skarner, and Kindred.
2. Elk has the highest individual amount of kills
BLG’s ADC was an important member of its team’s success, so it’s not a surprise to see him at the no. 1 spot. He scored a total of 216 (5.1 on average), 13 more than the second-best LNG’s ADC LP.
1. Scout scores the highest amount of MVPs of the split
LNG’s mid laner proved why he’s one of the best players in the world, dominating the mid lane and bringing in a total of 17 MVPs, 5 more than the second-best EDG’s jungler Jiejie.
With such achievements, Scout broke an important record. Ever since the league was united into one, no one was able to go past Knight’s 15 MVPs. Scout has now set a new record and benchmark for the entire league, and the years to come.
