Wild Hearts Developer Addresses PC Performance Issues, Fix Coming Soon

Omega Force is working on fixing the performance issues for Wild Hearts on PC, and a patch is slated to come next week for the game.

“Omega Force are working continuously to improve performance and optimize the game for a wide variety of hardware specs across future updates,” Omega Force said in a statement on Reddit. “We have a patch coming next week that addresses a CPU bottleneck problem the team discovered; this should improve performance across mid-high-end CPUs. The team is also actively working on DLSS and FSR support which will arrive in a future patch.”

On Steam, many users have pointed out the game’s performance issues such as inconsistent and low framerates, as well as audio bugs. Users have also poked fun at the PC version too, leaving comments like, “‘”buy our game today, and we promise it’ll work next week“’ and “The price is higher than the FPS you will be able to pull in this game.”

Other users, such as Funk Felyne, have also suggested purchasing and playing Monster Hunter Rise or Monster Hunter World instead in the meantime while the performance fixes for Wild Hearts are being worked on. The game is also so tough that even Omega Force has trouble with it.

In IGN’s Wild Hearts review, we said, “Wild Hearts’ building mechanics add a very fun twist to its familiar but well-executed co-op monster hunting formula.”
