Resident Evil 4 Gets New Gameplay Footage, Releasing Demo Soon

The upcoming Resident Evil 4 remake showed off some new gameplay footage during today’s PlayStation State of Play, Sony’s first of 2023.

They also confirmed that a special demo for Resident Evil 4 would be coming soon, and that there would be a Mercenaries mode, a beloved feature of the original game that unlocked after beating the main campaign.

Among the new footage was the first look a glimpse at a boss fight with Jack Krauser, one of the game’s most memorable antagonists. We also saw Ada Wong, as well as got some more time with Luis, who’s shown with Leon in the minecart section.

Resident Evil 4 releases on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on March 24, 2023. A free VR mode, exclusive to the PSVR 2, is also on the way, as Capcom announced earlier this week.
