Here is our full guide on how to play Draven ADC in League of Legends season 13 like the legendary Draven streamer Tyler1.
Tyler1 Draven ADC Guide – Everything you need to know
Draven is one of the strongest yet most difficult ADC champions in League of Legends. Thanks to his kit based on catching axes, a strong Draven player can deal an absurd amount of damage across all stages of the game.
That said, mastering Draven ADC takes a lot of time and not everyone is willing to put that time into learning one single champion. For this reason, we’ve compiled the best builds and runes in our guide, taking information from the best Draven player in the world: Tyler1.
Draven ADC Build by Tyler1
Draven0’s build is quite straightforward and there aren’t different itemizations depending on the game. Now that Eclipse had its Omnivamp changed to lifesteal, with a compensating buff, it actually made Draven’s mythic item even stronger. Since Draven relies most of its damage on auto attacks already, he gets even more healing now compared to before. That said, Eclipse is usually built second, after Essence Reaver.
This item restores mana, which is something that Draven struggles without. You usually want to spam W as often as possible when catching axes to have more attack speed and movement speed. Therefore, Essence Reaver is the real core item for Draven.
Following these two items, you want to get Infinity Edge to get the best spike. Now that the minimum crit chance to activate the passive got changed to 40%, it’s even more worth now to get it as a third item. You will likely tap people with one or two attacks, making you an unstoppable force.
To round off the build, Tyler1 usually builds Lord Dominik’s Regard or Bloodthirster. The first works best against tanks while the latter makes him harder to kill since he has an incredible 27% lifesteal and a shield on top of it. Usually, he ends up building both and then gets a Guardian Angel for the revival passive.
Overall, this is the usual build seen in most of his Draven games:
Essence Reaver
Eclipse
Infinity Edge
Lord Dominik’s Regard/Rapid Firecannon (for more attack range)
Bloodthirster
Guardian Angel

Tyler1’s Draven Runes
Draven has only one rune setup that works on him and that is with Lethal Tempo as the keystone rune. Paired with the attack speed increase, he will be unstoppable when dueling and fighting in skirmishes. Since he goes Precision as the primary tree, Tyler 1 usually opts for the following minor runes:
Presence of Mind to get the mana refunds;
Legend: Bloodline for additional lifesteal;
Last Stand to deal more damage when fighting at low health.
The secondary rune tree is Domination, with Taste of Blood and Treasure Hunter as the go-to choices. The first gives him early sustain to win trades while the latter is to ensure he snowballs even harder with the additional gold.
If you want to play ADC Draven like Tyler1, sticking to this guide will allow you to master the champion a lot faster
