It’s that time of year again folks. We’ve got a Nintendo Direct on the way, taking place tomorrow, February 8.
Confirmed in a tweet from Nintendo of America (below), the Direct will take place at 2pm Pacific / 5pm Eastern / 10pm UK (so 8am on February 9 AEST) and can be viewed on Nintendo’s website and its YouTube channels.
The Direct will be around 40 minutes long, focusing on games launching in the first half of 2023. Though no specific games were confirmed by Nintendo in the tweet, this could include The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, which has a May release date.
Tune in at 2 p.m. PST tomorrow, Feb. 8, for a #NintendoDirect livestream featuring roughly 40 minutes of information mostly focused on #NintendoSwitch games launching in the first half of 2023.

We’ve also yet to see anything about Pikmin 4, which is also supposedly planned for this year, and Advance Wars 1+2: Reboot Camp is supposedly still done and sitting on a shelf somewhere too. Beyond that, fans are hopeful we might get a look at Hollow Knight: Silksong.
That said, try not to get too excited, as IGN recently reported that Nintendo is skipping E3 this year at least in part due to having a lighter launch slate than normal. This Direct is likely filled out with stuff we already know about (Tears of the Kingdom and Kirby, anyone?) as well as smaller games that don’t quite fuel the hype machine in the same way.
You can check out all our predictions for Nintendo’s lineup this year right here while we all wildly speculate together in the lead-up to the Direct.
