MSI Theme of the year
In addition to the schedule and locations, Riot also chose the theme for MSI 2023, the first international tournament of the LoL season. The theme is to “DEFY: Defy expectations. Defy haters. Defy doubts.”
“MSI is all about showcasing regional strength midway through the season. It’s the first step toward greatness, pushing beyond limits and showing up with a spirit of defiance.”
With the introduction of the new double-elimination stages this year, regions will have more opportunities to defy expectations and come out victorious. If you want to watch some MSI action in May but can’t join in person, you can tune in to the Lolesports website.
