Nintendo has announced the first details on Wave 4 of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s Booster Course Pass at today’s Nintendo Direct, revealing the first glimpse of a new track and confirming Birdo is joining the racer roster.
Yoshi’s Island is the first new course confirmed for Wave 4, which will contain seven other tracks as per the three previous waves. Nintendo stopped short of revealing a specific arrival date for Wave 4 of the Booster Course Pass, but it’s set to arrive during the Northern Hemisphere spring.
The previous wave of tracks for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe arrived on December 7, 2022. The new courses are only available as part of the Booster Course Pass and cannot be purchased individually. Eight courses are being released at a time over six waves by the end of 2023.
