As part of today’s State of Play announcements, PlayStation unveiled Humanity — the next project from the developers behind Tetris Effect and Rez Infinite.
Humanity has players control a Shiba Inu tasked with leading a large crowd of humans that, as the developer notes in the press release, are on “their way to salvation.” Alongside a full story mode, Humanity will feature a Stage Creator. Players can also create and share their own stages with the community, similar to Super Mario Maker and the LittleBigPlanet games.
Humanity is available in a 2D perspective, but the trailer and press release also confirmed that the game will have an optional VR mode for PS VR2, PSVR, and PC VR headsets.
Humanity is slated to come out sometime this May, but if you want to try out the game before release, a demo will be available until March 6th.
