A new Fantasy Life game was announced during today’s Nintendo Direct livestream.
Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time is an RPG life-sim game and is likely a sequel to Fantasy Life, which launched back in 2014 for the Nintendo 3DS. In the upcoming title, players will get to travel through time as you build your island in the best way you best see fit.
Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time will have players swapping between roles from woodcutter to blacksmith and paladin as you use these roles to help complete tasks and progress through the game.
In our review for the original Fantasy Life, which we gave a 7, reviewer Megan Sullivan noted that the game “is an addictive blend of life simulation and RPG that kept us playing long after the credits rolled.”
While no specific release date was given, Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time will launch sometime this year exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
