Poncle has announced a new piece of DLC for Vampire Survivors called Legacy of the Moonspell. It includes a brand-new stage, characters, and weapons for players to utilize.

While the Steam page doesn’t list the DLC’s release date, it will reportedly be released on December 15 and cost $1.99. The brand new stage is called Mt. Moonspell, which is the game’s biggest stage to date and features different environments including snow-covered mountains and an infested yokai village.

There will be eight new characters in total, with four of them already revealed. Miang Moonspell is the last disciple of the Moonspell Clan, Menya Moonspell is one of the few surviving Moonspell elders, and Syuuto Moonspell is a banished practitioner of new moon dark magic. Babi-Onna has returned from the dead to seek vengeance on demons and mortals.

As for new weapons, there will be 13 of them, such as the Four Seasons set of orbs, the Silver Wind staff, and an enchanted kimono imbued with a fragment of Babi-Onna’s vengeful spirit called the Mirage Robe.

Vampire Survivors launched a new character and stage last month as part of its 1.1 patch and released in 1.0 in October.

In IGN’s Vampire Survivors review, we said, “Vampire Survivors is outwardly simple but turns out to be an incredibly deep hole to fall down – though it’s not without extended dull periods when you get ahead of its curve.

Vampire Survivors is available on PC and Xbox and is also part of Xbox Game Pass.
