Warner Bros. and Avalanche have confirmed the second Hogwarts Legacy gameplay showcase will be arriving on December 14, and it looks to give fans a brand-new look at the much-anticipated adventure that will transport players back to the beloved magical world that was first introduced in the Harry Potter books.

Hogwarts Legacy Gameplay Showcase II Start Time
The upcoming Hogwarts Legacy Gameplay Showcase II will take place on Wednesday, December 14, and will start at 10am PT/1pm ET/6pm GMT. If you live in Australia, that translates to December 15 at 4am AEST.
It wasn’t shared how long the showcase will be, but we do know that YouTuber Benjamin Show will be the guest host.

What to Expect at the Upcoming Hogwarts Legacy Gameplay Showcase
While we don’t know exactly what will be shown, it was confirmed that this gameplay showcase will focus on “broom flight and traversal, advanced combat, and an introduction to the Room of Requirement.”
The short teaser for the showcase showed a player exploring Hogwarts’ grounds on broomstick, fighting trolls with magic, and interacting with fantastic beasts like the graphorn.
The trolls section in the short teaser is interesting as it looks to be a challenge of sorts that may take place the Room of Requirement. It also could just be a challenge players can take on in the world of Hogwarts Legacy or part of the Defense Against the Dark Arts class.
The first Hogwarts Legacy Gameplay Showcase was all about the character creator, combat, and lots of other little details in Hogwarts Castle and beyond. It has been our best-look yet at the game that puts players in the shoes of a fifth-year student in the 1890s.
Hogwarts Legacy will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on February 10, 2023. PS4 and Xbox One players follow on April 4, 2023, and Switch Players will get their chance to play on July 25, 2023.
Hogwarts Legacy has had its fair share of controversy over its connection to Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling, who has made repeated transphobic comments. Warner Bros. has confirmed she is not involved in Hogwarts Legacy, but she still owns the IP and will learn royalties from sales of the game.
