Cloud9 announced as the final competitor for the Red Bull Home Ground Valorant event

The heavy hitters are ready to fight in Manchester as Cloud9 is the last team announced to compete at Red Bull Home Ground. The one-of-a-kind Valorant event will take place on December 9 and run until December 11. Red Bull Home Ground will feature some of the best teams from Europe and North America.

During the offseason, Cloud9 put together a powerful roster, headlined by the acquisition of the best Valorant player in the world, Jaccob “yay” Whiteaker. Amongst the ‘heavy hitters’ is the core of Nathan “leaf” Orf, Anthony “vanity” Malaspina and Erick “Xeppaa” Bach. Rounding out the roster is Jordan “Zellsis” Montemurro who is returning to Cloud9 after competing for the organization in CSGO.

This will be the first time fans get to watch the ‘heavy hitters’

This is will be an exciting event for not only Cloud9 Valorant fans but competitive Valorants too. Red Bull Home Ground will be the first time fans will get to see Cloud9’s ‘superteam’ in action. With Chamber nerfs being announced as recently as yesterday, it will be interesting to see what adaptions C9 will make to their compositions from map to map.

Cloud9 will be up against stiff competition from the word go, with the defending Red Bull Home Ground champions Team Liquid, as well as fellow VCT Americas side 100 Thieves also in attendance. The Red Bull Home Ground event is part of the official VCT 2023 off-season, meaning fans will be in for a treat with high-quality games.
