Kiriko Overwatch 2 glitch blocks headshots

Overwatch 2 hero Kiriko has an exploit that can block headshots. Read on for details.

Kiriko Overwatch 2 glitch?

“If I was trying to fight Kiriko, I actually don’t think I can headshot her from any direction,” Flats said. He demonstrated this while playing as Widowmaker.

When you play as Kiriko in Overwatch 2 and look up, it’s possible to block headshots from the front, according to a Florida Mayhem partner Flats. Flats posted about this on Twitter alongside a video clip.

Fun fact of the day, if you look up with Kiriko you can completely block headshots from the front in Overwatch 2 pic.twitter.com/HGwscpsXZa

It’s only when Flats moved behind the hero and took aim that he managed to take Kiriko down.

“So I have to like really get behind you and shoot the back of your head from an angle,” Flats continued. “That’s crazy.”

According to a response to Flat’s tweet, it seems that Kiriko’s arm is obstructing her head’s hitbox. Another tweet pointed out how Mercy experienced something similar while raising her arm to cast the Resurrect ultimate.

When is the next Overwatch 2 update?

Kiriko isn’t the only hero that needs a patch up. Mei, for example, is still removed from Overwatch 2. This is because her Ice Wall ability resulted in heroes reaching unintended locations.

[#OW2] We are temporarily disabling Mei to address a bug with her Ice Wall ability that allows heroes to reach unintended locations. We are working to address these issues as quickly as possible and aim to bring Mei back in our next upcoming patch which is set for November 15. pic.twitter.com/chy8cZX6Gu

Meanwhile, players are expecting heroes Genji, Kiriko, Zarya, Sombra and D.Va to get their balance changes soon. The mid-season patch got delayed because Overwatch 2 had to resolve a critical issue, according to Blizzard.

Instead of November 15th as the patch date, it got moved to November 17th at 11 a.m. PST.

That’s all for now. Stay tuned on Esports.gg for more Overwatch 2 content, news and updates.
