Today, Epic Games revealed its partnership with Swarovski to create a trophy fit for true champions. The developers gave fans and players the first look at what’s up for grabs this weekend in Raleigh, North Carolina at the FNCS Invitational LAN event.
Fortnite x Swarovski trophy revealed for FNCS Invitational 2022
For the first time, Swarovski has lent its expertise to construct an esports trophy. Designed using Unreal Engine, the Austria-based company utilized various innovative methods to build the ultimate prize. The trophy itself draws inspiration from Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4’s “Chrome” appearance.
“The trophy design is inspired by the distinctive FNCS logo, with a shield-shaped base set with bespoke heliotrope crystals featuring an iridescent color-changing effect that transitions from purple to blue.”

The tournament’s champion-winning duo walks away with the FNCS Invitational trophy and $200K. Also, Epic Games will engrave the winner’s in-game name onto the Chrome-themed trophy. Moreover, an Epic Games blog post describes the trophy as 15 pounds and 18 inches tall — a serious piece of hardware.
“Taking inspiration from this year’s FNCS chrome logo, the trophy features the FNCS logo in the center and custom Swarovski crystals with an iridescent color-changing effect that transitions from purple to blue. Once a winner has been declared, the FNCS Invitational Champions’ names will be etched onto the trophy. The final design weighs in at 15 pounds and stands 18 inches tall.”
