What is Valorant Premier?

“In Premier, you will be able to create or join a team of five friends, acquaintances, neighbors and battle for glory against teams of a similar skill level. After building a roster, your team will be placed in a division where you’ll play across a persistent season composed of a mix of weekly matches and tournaments”

Jon “EVRMOAR” Walker, Senior Designer Valorant.

Valorant Premier is a new competitive mode that presents opportunities higher than Radiant. Premier will allow players with a more rewarding challenge beyond Ranked. It is a way for regular Valorant players to form a connection in-game to go pro.

One of the biggest flaws in many esports titles is the lack of clarity on what is needed for a player to go pro. In many other games, the best advice someone can give to an aspiring professional is to get into a high MMR bracket. But what then?

Riot aims to solve this problem with the new competitive mode that will immediately put the highest ranked players in the spotlight. It is a way for teams to scout new players, an opportunity for high-ranked players to compete against pros and more.

When does Valorant Premier mode release?
