M4 World Championship to take place in Jakarta with $800,000 on the line
Sixteen teams from around the globe will head down to Jakarta to compete for the title of MLBB world champions.
It was sweet revenge for Onic Esports
Onic Esports and RRQ Hoshi have had quite a rivalry going on in 2022. The two teams had also faced off in the Season 9 finals earlier this year. On this occasion, however, RRQ were the better team and thrashed Onic 4-1 in a one-sided final.
Coming into the grand finals of the MPL Indonesia Season 10, RRQ looked to have the upper hand. The team had already defeated Onic in the upper bracket final with a score of 3-1.
However, Onic beat Aura Fire in the lower bracket final to set up another bout with the defending champions. This time, however, the team was prepared.
They closed the first game with relative ease as RRQ found themselves on the back foot throughout the match. RRQ did make a comeback to take game two, though, but this proved to be their last victory in the MPL Indonesia Season 10.
The defending champions fell in back-to-back games to give Onic Esports the title with a score of 4-1.
