What to Expect and Where to Watch
On the first day, competitors will be divided into two lobbies. Each of these lobbies will finish three matches, and after each match, players will receive points based on where they place on the in-game leaderboard. Finishing in first place will grant seven points, getting the silver will earn a player six points and so on. This means whoever finishes last will get zero points. Once these matches are done, only the top four competitors of each lobby will advance to the top eight.
As for day two, the top eight players will duke it out against each other under the check format until a winner is determined. To claim the Hearthstone Battlegrounds Lobby Legends: Murlocized crown, a player will have to earn a minimum of 20 points and then get a first-place match finish. After achieving victory, the winner will walk away with the bulk of the $50,000 prize pool, which will be $10,000.

“You’ll also want to pay close attention to the strategies on display, as the top players on the Battlegrounds leaderboards at the end of October will have a chance to advance to the ninth and final Lobby Legends of the year,” Blizzard added in an announcement.
To celebrate the very first year of Hearthstone Battlegrounds: Lobby Legends, Blizzard will also be doubling that final prize pool to $100,000. That esports event will take place from December 3rd to 4th.
