Fortnite and the Evil Dead franchise are set to collide during the annual Halloween-themed Fortnitemares 2022 event. Earlier this week, the Fortnitemares trailer marked the unexpected debut of Ash Williams–the protagonist from Evil Dead. Portrayed famously by Bruce Campbell in the Sam Raimi-created series, Ashley Joanna Williams has become a horror movie icon over the years. Now, the Deadite-slaying warrior will become the latest to join Fortnite Battle Royale.

When is Ash Williams coming to Fortnite?

According to reputable Fortnite leaker HYPEX, the Fortnite x Evil Dead collaboration will arrive on October 23. As a result, we can safely presume the Ash Williams bundle will be available in the Item Shop at 8 PM EST. However, you can see Ash Williams already in Fortnite Battle Royale. The horror icon exists in-game as an NPC, roaming a Fortnite version of the Knowby Cabin, as marked on the map below.

Fortnite leaker InTheShadeYT posted the entire Item Shop showcase for Ash Williams on Twitter. The bundle includes the base outfit, two back blings, a pickaxe, emote, and a loading screen. As for price, it is unclear how much the entire set will cost. These collaborations typically range from 2,000 to 3,000 V-Bucks. For reference, the recent Fortnite x Black Adam bundle goes for 2,000 V-Bucks.
